Creative Chocolates of Vermont Under New Leadership
After 24
years of chocolateering, Peg McGowan,
the founder of Creative Chocolates of
Vermont has decided that it's time to
retire. This decision was not
taken lightly but due to growing health
concerns and shifting priorities (i.e.
grandchildren), Peg has decided that
it's finally time to let someone else
let their imagination run wild.
As such, Peg is passing
the company's reigns onto Diane Fortune,
another chocolate fanatic and owner
of J.D. Sweeties. J.D. Sweeties
has been supplying fine chocolates to
Vermonters since 1997 and will bring
that diversified experience to Creative
Chocolates of Vermont.
Now while J.D. Sweeties
and Creative Chocolates of Vermont have
been making chocolates for the same
customers for over a decade, J.D. Sweeties'
main chocolate supplier was in fact
Creative Chocolates of Vermont. As
these two company's history, Diane and
Peg have known each other for over 15
years now and each have benefited from
this relationship. Truth be told,
Diane has actually learned much of her
chocolateering skills from Peg herself
which will help make this union that
much more transparent to the customer.
Now, as Peg moves
on, Diane is eagerly stepping in to
continue where Peg left off as she merges
J.D. Sweeties into Creative Chocolates
of Vermont.
